message from the superintendent 25-26 school year

I am truly humbled and honored to be appointed as the Superintendent of Schools for the Greenburgh-North Castle Union Free School District. For over 27 years, this district has been my home, and I have been privileged to serve our students and community in various roles.

My journey here began as a dedicated mathematics teacher at the High School of Business and Performing Arts in Valhalla, a role I cherished for over eight years. When that academy was reimagined and became the REACH Academy, I transitioned to the Greenburgh Academy, where I led the mathematics department as the Curriculum Leader for approximately nine years. The opportunity to shape and guide our students' mathematical education was an incredible experience.

Afterward, I served as Assistant Principal at the Kaplan Career Academy for over three years, where I deepened my understanding of school administration and operations. This led to my transition to the District Office, where I assisted with operations and finance. I was later appointed Director of Operations and Finance and then Assistant Superintendent of Business.

Suffice it is to say, I have been fortunate enough to have witnessed firsthand - in a variety of roles - our district's unwavering commitment to embracing and educating students with special needs and its reputation for welcoming all students. It is this dedication that makes me so proud to continue my service here. I look forward to working alongside all of you to build upon our traditions and ensure every student has the opportunity to succeed.
